Last Wednesday, we shut the store down and had a much-needed A-1 family retreat. We have been running around like crazy for the past few months as it's been one of our busiest "busy seasons" yet! Don't get us wrong. We LOVE what we do and appreciate all of the business we have done this past year, but it was so nice to take a day off together. Wednesday was a day for us to celebrate and recharge together as a group. It was a perfect day from the weather to the food and of course, the company we shared.
Here is quick look at our day:
We started the morning off with breakfast at a Columbia staple, Ernie's Cafe and Steakhouse. From there we went to Rock Bridge State Park for a little hike. We hiked about 7 miles through the woods with the help of our resident tour guide, Brian. Our staff is a diverse group but we all love the outdoors. We worked up quite the appetite after all that hiking. So we headed downtown to Booches and ate a lot of burgers between all of us. When we finished there, Sparky's is just a quick walk across the street. So we thought "Why not?"
We spent the day like true Columbians. We had a blast doing it. Most importantly we got some much needed R&R!
