Every December, the Pantone Color Institute releases the Color of the Year for the following year. The color for 2019 is Living Coral 166-1546, "An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge." We are excited to see how this color will start popping up in event, fashion and home decor trends!
If you've read any of our other posts or just stopped by our showroom, you might have realized that we LOVE our velvet linens. So naturally when Pantone released Living Coral as the color for 2019, we immediately knew we wanted to use Coral velvet. We paired the velvet with Fiesta matte satin napkins tied in simple knots for a fun, monochromatic look. For the place settings we used Silver Wire chargers, Regina dinner plates, Duchess salad plates, Quantum flatware, and 10 oz. Jupiter and Red Wine glasses. Each setting had a beautiful rock place card with gold calligraphy created by our friends at the Ink Cafe as well as the glass table number. Mahogany chiavari chairs and a simple arrangement of roses, eucalyptus and coral-colored berries helped tie the whole look together!
