For the past few years, navy has been one of the most popular wedding colors. It can be used as a neutral or a pop of color. We typically see it in a color scheme accented with blush and burgundy. And while that is a beautiful palette, we wanted to show off another color combination we love featuring navy. Recently, we were looking up wedding themes on Pinterest and this combo of blue and gray kept popping up under multiple themes. It can look beachy or celestial or traditional or wintery or vintage... just by altering a few elements can totally be transformed into a different theme. So what theme did we choose for our table?
The navy blue vintage glasses from Pretty Little Things Vintage Rental were the source of inspiration for this tablescape. Adding unique or colored glassware is a fun but practical way to elevate your tables. To incorporate a bit more navy, we used navy supernova napkins along with a gray polyester tablecloth and sky blue iridescent crush runner for the linens. We picked this runner because of the texture and color but we wanted a "matte" look so we flipped the runner over. To complete the muted look we desired, we added silver and glass accents the table as well as our clear chiavari chairs. The glass and silver at each place setting almost blended into the gray linen creating a little contrast and some sparkle. In the center of the table was a simple arrangement of white roses, hydrangeas, and greenery and glass votive candles were scattered down the runner. This simple look is so universal, we don't actually know what theme it fits!
