Customers have been raving over our children's table designs lately, especially our most recent Tea-Rex Party. As sad as we were to switch it out, we were excited to take on new twist and idea of having a boy-themed party. We started searching our trusty Pinterest site and thinking about what might most represent little boys and after some scrolling, one theme just stood out and we couldn’t wait to put it together. And that theme was cars! Once we found our idea of a Race Car Party, we started looking into what items we had and the color combinations we could do to create this design.
For the main linen, we wanted something more neutral and something that would balance the rest of the color combos we had in mind for our table, so we chose our Royal Blue Polyester Linen. Once we had our linen placed, we wanted to create a road down the middle of the table. We used our standard Black Polyester runner and stuck plain white address labels to it to create a center line. Underneath that we used the Black and White Check runner to give the road a bumpy appearance.
From here, we started deciding our place settings and wanted to keep things simple and more laid back. For each seat, we chose our Square White 6” plates which were placed with our Quantum flatware and Hi Ball glasses. To add some color, we alternated our Polyester Red, Moss, and Lemon Napkins to give a stop light affect to our theme. And to keep with a more boy-ish theme, we used our simple Children’s White Chair.
In the end, we got a few things from Amazon to complete our look. We added some orange caution cones, black disposable cups transformed into stoplights with red, green, and yellow construction paper dots, checkered flags, and of course, the main toy, race cars! Jessica designed cute "Pit Stop" menus to place on each plate for the final touch to this fun little table!
